Homelessness Advisory Committee
Join Us: Volunteer with the Committee
Help us build a community where everyone has a place to call home.
The Kings County Homelessness Advisory Committee is moving into full force, and we need your unique perspective, skills, and passion. By joining one of our subcommittees, you can directly contribute to regional, compassionate solutions for homelessness.
Why Volunteer With Us?
Homelessness is a complex issue, but change happens when a community comes together. Whether you have professional expertise, lived experience, or simply a desire to make a difference in the Annapolis Valley, your voice matters at our table.
The Opportunity: Our Subcommittees
We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers to join our four specialized subcommittees.

Housing
-

What is the Commitment? - Subcommittees plan to meet once a month for approximately one to two hours. These will be working committees and will require additional support as needed outside of the regular meeting schedule. However, planning is still in its infancy; the frequency and schedule of work will be determined by subcommittee chairs and members.
